Leveraging technology culled from the company's Acheron screen channel loudspeaker, Amie offers an exceptionally linear sound and a ruler-flat frequency response for stereo and multi-channel applications in small- to medium-sized rooms. This pair of nearfield studio monitors employ a proprietary bi-amped Class D design with state-of-the-art processing and crossover circuitry to ensure a truthful phase response for maximum transparency and spot-on spatial imaging. Top-of-the-line transducers and an optimized cabinet port yield hyper-accurate audio reproduction and extended low-end response, while a constant directivity waveguide facilitates uniform, focused coverage. And because this compact speaker is based on Acheron, it offers seamless translation to larger cinema systems. Amie is powered by a proprietary 2-channel Class D amplifier with sophisticated built-in signal processing and crossover circuitry to ensure transparency and accurate spatial imaging. This studio monitor vaunts generous headroom, low distortion, and negligible self-noise. At Sweetwater, we've also found it to offer a uniform tonal balance — even at high sound pressure levels. Meyer Sound loaded Amie with top-drawer transducers to ensure the best sound possible. Its 1-inch silk-infused dome tweeter is fed to a constant directivity waveguide for consistent, focused coverage with smooth roll-off outside the sweet spot. Its 6.5-inch, long-excursion cone woofer exhibits incredible linear frequency and amplitude response. Beyond that, this speaker's optimized, low‑turbulence cabinet port enhances its power handling and extends its low‑end response.
