Dynacord's PowerMate mixers are powerful, compact, easy to use, and designed to fit comfortably into today's digital workflows. The PM1600-3 is a 2 x 1000W powered mixer with twelve mic/line and four mic/stereo-line channels. You also get six auxiliary busses, with two being switchable pre/post fader allowing needed flexibility for monitor configuration.
Sixteen discrete low-noise preamps greet your input signal and send it on to a three-band EQ for conditioning. Channels one through twelve also feature sweepable midrange and an 80Hz low cut filter to eliminate environmental rumble and transfer noise the microphones might pick up. A unique voice filter can be used to pre-shape the input by providing a high-mid boost with a complimentary low-mid cut which brings out the human voice. Two integrated time-based effects processors are included with 100 factory presets. The presets can be edited and saved to twenty memory locations, offering welcome creative possibilities.
A built-in USB 24-bit / 96kHz USB audio interface delivers four channels of recording and playback to your favorite DAW. In case you don't have a favorite DAW, Dynacord threw in a Cubase LE license. A rear-panel MIDI interface lets you incorporate keyboards and controllers into the production.
The master section features a eleven-band graphic EQ that can be used to tune your room for optimal mixing results. Variable speaker protection is included for passive speakers connected directly to the outputs so you can push the mix when needed. The PM1600-3 is outfitted with an XLR lamp connection making it easy to see what you're doing in low light environments.
