Description

An unusual global launch at ISE 2017 in Amsterdam for Electro-Voice was the introduction of the new X12-125F flying subwoofer, matching the same form factor and performance-matched with the remaining X-Line Advance line array series elements. The new subwoofer features dual 15-inch high-output transducers in a very compact enclosure that can be flown or ground-stacked, including a user-friendly integrated rigging System for quick, secure deployment in X1 and X2 arrays.

Focusing on high-level sonic impact and vocal intelligibility with uniform, predictable coverage that only a line array can deliver, EV's X-Line system provides wide horizontal dispersion from a single vertical line array with exceptionally coherent wave-front summation in the vertical plane. Extended low-frequency polar control produces more uniform power response, further enhancing overall intelligibility.
